Mick Ebeling launched The Ebeling Group (TEG) in November 2002 as a production company dedicated to nurturing innovators in production, design and animation. Under his direction, the company has experienced tremendous growth, becoming a bi-coastal entity with offices in Los Angeles and New York City. Continually uncovering new international talent, the company roster currently includes sought-after directors MK12, Lobo, Convert, Caviar, Nakd, LBA and Caskey.
Mick Ebeling has produced advertising campaigns for clients including Coke, Toyota, Metlife, Nike, and Diesel, and groundbreaking network identity packages for TBS, TNT, and BBC. Keeping his foot planted in the fine -art and experimental film world, 7 TEG-produced projects were showcased in 2005's Resfest film festival, while others regularly screen at Onedotzero, Sundance and .Mov. TEG directors have received accolades and won numerous industry awards from the likes of The One Show, ADC, Cannes, Promax/BDA and D&AD.
Prior to founding TEG, Mick launched Santa Monica-based Fuel, and grew it from a fledgling three-person design firm to a noted production and design powerhouse prior to its successful acquisition by Razorfish. He was also instrumental in building and expanding the commercial division of design company 3 Ring Circus, and served as CEO and Executive Producer of boutique ad agency They, Inc. with clients including NASA, Excite, Blind Date and The City of Los Angeles.
A noted expert in all matters of design, Mick has moderated and spoken on panels at design conferences in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York, San Francisco and Singapore.
