Sam Walsh began his production career in the Northwest as a commercial producer.
In 1987 he also began working on the advertising agency side in a freelance capacity, eventually becoming the head of production at Cole & Weber in Seattle. Following a five-year tenure as head of production at Hal Riney & Partners (now Publicis & Hal Riney) in San Francisco, Sam became General Manager of Propaganda Films in Los Angeles for their commercial and music video divisions, including Satellite Films, where he remained until March of 2001.
After leaving Propaganda Sam set up New Nomads, a development company involved in the creation, execution and distribution of both traditional content and new, hybrid content and branded entertainment projects.
While he continues developing content projects through New Nomads, Sam also returned to Riney in late 2002 as Director of Broadcast Production, based in San Francisco.
