Peter Friedman

Peter Friedman, Executive Vice President, Director of Broadcast Production at McCann-Erickson New York, has had the unique opportunity of working on all "three" sides of the advertising production fence.

More than half of his thirty years in the production business has been spent on the agency production side, working for agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi and BBDO early in his career, in addition to his present post at McCann-Erickson.

Prior to joining McCann in early 1999, he was Global Head of Television Production for Nike which involved travelling around the world overseeing all facets of TV Production, and gave him the unique opportunity of working with Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Pete Sampras and a host of other Nike athletes

Before joining Nike, he ran the Broadcast Production department at Wells, Rich Greene in New York.

Earlier, in 1987, Peter was asked to start a commercial production facility for George Lucas and spent four years as General Manager in charge of Lucas Films' production for the commercial division, running offices in New York Los Angeles and San Francisco.
