Tom Mooney

Tom Mooney was born in Brooklyn when the Dodgers were still a New York team. His first loves were baseball and music. He realized at the old age of twelve that he would never be a professional ballplayer so a drummer he became with two years off for good behavior in the US Army. His Army career was somewhere between President Bush's and Senator Kerry's. Nam! After many years in the music business most of which he can't remember, he began working in advertising with Ray Lofaro, and in 1992 started Headquarters Films. Over the past thirteen years Headquarters has won several awards including Cannes Lions, Clios, AICP awards and an Emmy. Tom personally won an Academy Award for Best Featured Extra for his performance in the film "Behind Enemy Lines." Headquarters' current directors roster consists of David Cornell, Agust Baldursson, Eric King, Matt Ogens, Steve Reeves, Jerry Simpson, Richie Smyth and Lloyd Stein. |
