Howard Woffinden

Howard Woffinden Howard Woffinden spent the Eighties producing and directing for the burgeoning music video industry. He helped to forge the aesthetic of the new medium alongside such directors as David Fincher, Michael Bay, Dominic Sena and Nigel Dick. Along the way, he expanded his producing experience with award-winning commercials and ground-breaking CD-Roms.

Later, Woffinden produced "Road Movie," a feature film showcasing the 1995 R.E.M. tour. He has also kept a hand in directing, completing a second CD ROM, "The Tour," an interactive jam with The Who's Roger Daltry.
In 1995, Woffinden teamed with Propaganda Films director Greg Gold to produce Claudia Schiffer's exercise series "Perfectly Fit" in Prague.

Recognizing the untapped filmmaking opportunities of the Czech Republic, Woffinden and Gold partnered with Czech producer Tomas Krejci to launch the production service company Milk and Honey Films in January 1996.

As the Los Angeles executive producer of Milk and Honey Films, Woffinden is responsible for orchestrating creative talents in the United States with those in other countries. Woffinden's dedication and persistent global perspective have allowed Milk and Honey to expand its sphere of operations into Mexico City, London, Montreal, Rome and Moscow.

The company has provided production services to some of the most influential commercial directors in the world such as Peter Smilie , Bruce Dowad, Tim Burton, David Cornel , Janusz Kaminsky and Sam Beyer to name a few. Commercial clients include, Reebok , Maytag, Peoplesoft, Cysco Systems, Timex , Skittles, Lexus and Honda.

In addition to top level commercial clientel, Milk and Honey have been successful in the long-form market also providing production services for Frank Herbert's "Dune", Hallmarks production of "The Lost Empire", "Blade 2 " starring Wesley Snipes for New Line Cinema , "Ann Frank: " starring Ben Kingsley and nominated for 13 Emmy awards and "Fidel", a mini series on the Cuban dictator produced by Milk and Honey partner Jose Ludlow for Hallmark Entertainment.

Howard lives in Los Angeles with his wife Charlotte and daughter Eleanor.
