Tom Stepanchak
As the Manager, Marketing Communications for BMW of North America, Tom Stepanchak is responsible for overseeing BMW’s advertising, media, direct mail and product brochures in the US. Tom manages the teams which develop the national brand campaigns, the tactical work of regional agencies, and materials/co-op support for local dealers to provide a consistent and integrated advertising message across all media. Additionally, he provides marketing support for BMW subsidiaries worldwide.
Prior to joining BMW in 1996, Tom spent 12 years at dick clark productions where he lived the classic Hollywood fairy tail of starting in the mail room and working his way up to Producer. He worked on many television and film productions, including: American Bandstand, TV’s Bloopers & Practical Jokes, and the American Music Awards. For two years, Tom was the Director of Publicity serving as the primary spokesperson for Dick Clark, and his related companies. Tom was also a Producer for Dick Clark’s corporate division, producing events for clients including: IBM, AT&T, Visa and BMW.
Previously, Tom was a news producer/director for NBC affiliate WBBH-TV in Fort Myers, FL.
Tom holds a BS in Business Management from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. He currently resides in Wanaque, NJ with his wife, daughter and son.
