Adrian Harrison
Harrison graduated from Cambridge University in 1983 with a degree in history. Through a meeting with film director Alan Parker, he landed his first job in the industry on Marek Kanievska’s feature film "Another Country."
Upon finishing the film, he joined the advertising agency The KMP Partnership as a graduate trainee account executive to start off in the industry. Nine months later, he left to become a trainee producer at, what was then, DMB, now D’Arcy. Two years later, and a lot of dog and cat food commercials experience, he joined BMP, now BMP DDB in their television department. Leaving nine months later, he joined RSA Films as a Producer, aged 26, in 1987.
Having produced commercials on location throughout the world (including three in Nepal) for directors such as John Marles, Ian Emes, Marek Kanievska, Ridley Scott and Jon Greenburgh, he was made Managing Director of RSA Films in London four years ago. Subsequently, he went on to set up and also be Managing Director for Black Dog Films.
In the past four years he has been at the forefront of re-building RSA’s roster in London and at the same time, managing the industry changes that have taken place in that time.
