Alex Frisch

Alex Frisch Alex is currently a Visual effects supervisor/artist at the Visual effects company Method in Santa Monica. Alex was one of the founding members of Method in August 1998. Method is a visual effects boutique of 25 persons, creating 2D and 3D visual effects for high-end commercials and music videos. Alex credits with Method include work with directors Kinka Usher, Samuel Bayer, Tarsem and David Kellogg.

Alex came to the USA in 1995 where he worked as a Visual effects artist at 525 Studios until summer 1998. His credits at 525 include work with Gore Verbinski, Mark Romanek and Michael Bay.

Alex started his career in France in 1982 as a Director with the production company "L'atelier Communicant" working on 16mm short films and multi slide projections. In 1986, Alex embraced the birth of the digital age and became a free-lance Visual effects artist, working on different compositing platforms, from the Paint box, to the Harry, to the Flame. He worked throughout Europe with such directors as David Lynch, Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Michel Gondry and Stephane Sednaoui.
