Robert Brooks
Robert’s broad range of film and video experience includes commercial, educational, governmental, industrial, public relations, and advertising production. Recently retired after 22 years of commercial production management at Procter & Gamble Productions, he formed Advertising Production Management Services (APMS) where he now consults with a limited group of clients. While at P&G, his long standing interest in technology led him to pioneer a number of P&G firsts including the production of P&G’s first stereo audio television commercial (Cheer, 1981), the first use of an HDTV segment in a P&G television commercial (Cascade, 1993), and the production of P&G’s first completely 100% HDTV commercial (Tide, 1999). He is a member of SMPTE and served as P&G’s representative on the Association of National Advertisers Production Committee. He serves on several non-profit and corporate boards including A Special Wish Foundation, Give Kids The World Foundation, and does volunteer work for The Heart Of America Foundation and the Caring Institute in Washington, D.C
